This round, gold-finished pin pays homage to the “Once Upon a Wintertime” segment from the animated classic “Melody Time’” by featuring the sharing of a kiss between its two main characters Joe and Jenny.
The mayor Pin on Pin elements are Joe and Jenny themselves. The two rabbits on the ground between them may be minor Pin on Pin elements also because, while they are not anywhere as thick as Joe and Jenny are, they are clearly laying on top of the background.
The sparkle/glitter element is the grey background in the lower portion of the pin.
Printed down the left back side of the original card is the code “P389-7448-2-12013”. This same code was found in a similar place on the back of at least one of the cards of other pins in this series released on the same day as this particular pin was released. Similar, but not identical, codes were found on the back of the card of other pins in this series that had different release dates.
What is unusual about this pin is that the white label containing the price and SKU number was placed on the back of the card itself, rather than on the back of the cellophane envelope the pin on it’s card was packaged into. The earliest releases in this series had their SKU label placed on the cellophane envelope.
