This set of pins was released at Disney Store in the last months of 1999. Generally six or seven pins were released each week up until year 2000. They retailed for $4.00 each. The set was Disney's first real attempt at a pin collection series, and coincided with the beginnings of pin trading during the Millennium Celebration at Walt Disney World.
Although these were released on a weekly basis in Disney Store USA as "Countdown to the Millennium" Series, they were also released in Japan Disney Store as "Century of Dreams" Series. This is pin #36 of 101 which features Escape to Witch Mountain.
